‘Where there is A Will, There is A Way’

'Proverbs like 'where there is will' there is a way’ are often used and experienced in our daily lives because it is a fact that when someone wants to get something from his heart he puts all his efforts and will power to get it. When we feel the dire needs of life, we definitely struggle hard to achieve it. Believe me it is only our strong determination that helps us to find a way to do it so that we can achieve the best results as nothing is impossible once you try hard. If the will power is strong anything can be achieved. In a book 'I Dare' written by Kiran Bedi, she has said that if you want to achieve something you must work hard and throw yourself in the voile of your aim. Do not think about the deepness and results of your task when you achieve your aim. You will definitely forget about the struggle and pain because strong will power is the base of our success.

I believe that a strong determination boosts up the fighting spirit of any individual. Without determination, a person tends to give up too easily. I love to do thread work (embroidery) during my free time. I had once gone to the market to buy threads with my husband. There were many designs displayed in the shop. Infact many were quite big ones. The finished product would have come out to be of somewhere 3* 6 ft. When I asked my husband to help me to choose the best design, he picked up the most difficult but beautiful one, looked at me and with a mocking smile said, “You can never make this. Making small ones is easy but this big is not your piece of cake.” These words pinched me internally.  I resolved that very moment that I shall definitely make it and show what I can do. I quietly chose one more and came out of the shop. And when I was on bed rest during my pregnancy, I made both the designs. No doubt my husband was a great help as he used to buy all the threads I required   but he was very proud too that I had proved him wrong. Today when I look at them myself I too cannot believe my eyes. From then on, I believe a lot in having determination. If I want to accomplish even the smallest task, I never give up too easily or it will never be done. This new-found spirit in me has taken me quite ahead and has also helped me in facing a lot of challenges in life.

We should always remember that God helps only those who help themselves. Nothing is impossible if we try and with the help of our will power, we can achieve anything. The way a small sparrow makes a very beautiful nest with the help of her will power, similarly it is our will power that gives courage and energy to win. The main obstacle in the way of success is tardiness and lack of will power. Therefore we must always be active, ever green and optimistic to hope for the sky and believe me you will definitely achieve you aim.

Never blame fate as only those who struggle become successful. Sometimes one who struggles go on struggling and another person who waits without struggle becomes successful. But it does not happen all the time though fate plays a great role in our success, will power is also very important and with the help of will power one a conquer fate too. But one should not hope for victory before fighting the battle. Luck or opportunity never bothers men who are firmly set on getting ahead. They create the opportunity themselves and make their way to success. Always remember fortune favours the brave. To achieve success make progress and gain profit one has to dare and take risks for “Success is not cheap."

Everybody is well aware that success does not go to those who never struggle. But while dreaming, one should be always ready for hard work. It is not something which can be achieved by spending money, but will power comes from your soul and heart. You will be successful and a successful person is always independent and confident. It is true but success is counted sweetest by everyone who struggles but always remember that success demands hard work, struggle, sacrifice and a lot of patience too.

So struggle hard and be successful, nothing is impossible if your will is strong. You can achieve everything. After all where there is a will there is a way. Do not be afraid of failure because failure is the first step on the way to success; learn to face problems. Bear your troubles don't worry and be happy. Remember that if you laugh the whole world laughs with you but if you weep you will have to weep alone With your strong will power and enthusiasm any great thing can be achieved.
Everybody wants to be successful in his life. But while dreaming success one should not forget the battle, which is necessary for victory. Life is beautiful when the art of living is understood for it has been aptly said.
Life is an art
A mountain of troubles
In your trouble don't cry
You should only try and try
Struggle hard
And conquer the sky
With your skill
And power of will.
To dream is your
Right to struggle is your duty.
Will power is your need
To achieve the sky and to fly.

Diwali is very enthusiastically celebrated for five continuous days and each day has its significance with a number of myths, legends and beliefs.

The First Day : Dhanteras

The first day Known as Dhan Theras marks the beginning of the diwali and it is celebrated to seek blessings of Goddess Laxmi, the goddess of wealth. In the amalgamation of Dhan teras 'Dhan' means wealth. She is also worshiped on this day to provide prosperity and well being. The festival of Dhanteras is also known by the names of Dhantrayodashi and Dhanvantari Trayodashi. As this day is dedicated to the festival of wealth, people purchase any new utensil, silver or gold coin or some other precious metal as a sign of good luck on the day of dhanteras. This is also a tradition related with celebrations of the festival of Dhanvantari Trayodashi. Dhanteras festival is ideal time for setting up businesses, commencing new projects, housewarming, deciding wedding dates, buying cars and jewellery. "Lakshmi-Puja" is performed in the evenings when tiny diyas of clay are lighted to drive away the shadows of evil spirits.

This day is also celebrated as the birthday of  Hanumanji or Hanuman jayanti. Also, on this day  Hanumanji reached Ayodhya to deliver the long-awaited message of Lord Rama’s return.  The people light diyas on chhoti diwali too to fill their homes with light, worship Goddess Laxmi and offer prayers to Her and they also burst firecrackers.

SELECTION OF A SPOUSE

Once there was a well-educated handsome and pious young man whose parents continuously emphasized him to get married. They had seen so many marriage proposals and he had turned them all down. The parents thought it was becoming a little ridiculous and suspected that he may have someone else in mind.

However every time the parents left the girls house, the young man would always say “she’s not the one!”

The young man only wanted a religious girl who was loving, caring and kind. She should have a heart to win over everyone with humility.  However one evening his mother arranged for him, to meet a girl who seemed to be a perfect package for him.

On the eve of their meeting, both the young man and girl were left alone to converse so that they could know about each other.

The young man asked the girl to speak first. The young girl asked the young man so many questions regarding his life, his education, his friends, his family, his habits, his hobbies, his lifestyle, his enjoyment, his pastime, his experiences and so on.

The young man sweetly and politely replied to all with a smile on his face. By this time the young girl had taken up nearly all of the time, over an hour and it was then when she asked the young man to ask if he had to.

The young man said that he had only three questions…
It was indeed relaxing for the girl to know that she had not to answer many queries. She took a sigh of relief and asked him to ask.

The young man’s first question: Who do you love the most in the world, someone whose love nothing would ever overcome?

She said, this is an easy question; my mother, he smiled and asked the second question. You said that you read a lot of Holy Books, could you tell me what common platform is shared by all?

Hearing this she went red and embarrassed and said that she was not aware of it but would definitely find out.

Then he asked the third question and the last question: “I have been approached for my hand in marriage, by girls that are a lot prettier than you, why should I marry you?”

Hearing this the young girl was outraged, she stormed off to her parents with fury, and said that she did not want to marry him as he had insulted her beauty and intelligence. And the young man and his parents, once again, left without an agreement of marriage.

This time, the young man’s parents were really annoyed with him. They were flabbergasted as to what had happened between them for the girl as well as the family seemed to be nice, pleasant and were religious too, the way he wanted. They wanted to know the real truth and the cause for creating such an unhealthy situation!

The young man said, firstly I asked her: who do you love the most? She answered her mother.
The parents said so, what is wrong with that??

The young man said, “no one, is a human being until he loves God and his messengers more than anyone else in the world”

If a woman loves God and his messengers more than anyone, she will definitely love me and respect me, and stay faithful to me, because of that love, and fear for God and we can share this love, because this love is greater than lust for beauty.

The young man said, then I asked, you read a lot of Holy books can you tell me me what common platform is shared by all? And she said no, because I haven’t had time to go through them properly. So I thought of that “ALL humans, are dead except for those who have knowledge” She has lived 20 years and not found ANY time, to seek knowledge, why would I marry a woman, who does not know her rights, and responsibilities, and what will she teach my children, except how to be negligent, because the woman IS the best of teachers for any child. And a woman who has no time for God, will not have time for her husband.

The third question I asked her was, that a lot of girls, prettier than her, have approached me for marriage, so why should I choose you?

That is why she stormed off, getting angry. The young man’s parents said that is a horrible thing to say, why would you do such a thing, we are going back there to apologise. The young man said I said this on purpose, to test whether she could control her anger.
Gods says that we should not get angry and have control and command on ourselves. If a woman cannot control her anger with a stranger she has just met, do you think she will be able to control it with her husband??

So, the moral of this story is that a marriage is based on:

*knowledge, not looks,
*practice, not preaching,
*Forgiveness, not anger,
*spiritual love, not lust.
*and compromise

Rainbows
A rainbow is an amalgamation of light - a perfect harmonic combination which produces a symbol of supernatural beauty, promise and enlightenment.  Rainbows have always amazed man, which is why they appear in many stories, the folk tales of Ireland, the Greek mythologies had a messenger that travelled by rainbow, and many more... Rainbows are one of the most beautiful gifts found in nature that came directly from heaven. They are colourful, magical, and impossible to catch that also remind us of old stories between God and his people, of his magical creatures and natural wonders.

One of the most magical aspect about rainbows is that there is no real end to them and if you stand where you 'think' the rainbow ends, it looks as if it is in a different location altogether. This is one of the best optical illusions in nature for it all depends on the angle of the sun and where the moisture is in the air. Seeing a double rainbow crosses all limitations between people of whatever culture, cast or creed they come from as is most soothing and pleasurable to see a rainbow. Rainbows bring pure happiness when reflected in quiet waters during sunset giving making it a calming and beautiful sight.

The double rainbow is even more magical, and there is a positive significance in seeing a double rainbow. Double rainbows are considered symbolic of transformations in our life. The material world is represented by the first rainbow while the second rainbow is the spiritual world. Seeing a single rainbow is fairly common so something when we see a double rainbow we stop and take time to admire the wonder of the universe. A breath-taking double rainbow can be seen after stormy weather.

The seven coloured rainbow is symbolic and each colour passes its own message to the world. It is very easy to remember the colours of the rainbow. Just reverse VIBGYOR

What do the colours of the rainbow mean?
RED: is the colour of divinity, a soothing and relaxing colour that brings about peace and understanding, in addition to easy flow of communication.
ORANGESecond colour from the top is a combination of red and yellow. It may not be as fiery as red but symbolizes a lot of energy and wisdom. It is a very warm colour, which although dynamic, is more thoughtful and controlled. This colour can increase the creativity and playfulness of a person, and brings about equilibrium in life.
YELLOW: The third colour from the top is vibrant in itself, as it represents the colour of the sun which is known to be full of energy bringing about a proper clarity of thought in the mind of an individual, and also improve one's decision-making skills. Wisdom is usually associated with this colour.
GREENis the middle colour formed with the merging of yellow and blue. Therefore, this is located in the centre of the spectrum. Green has always been known for being the colour of fertility and prosperity. The colour green symbolizes harmony, balance, growth, and good health.
BLUEis the colour of divinity, a soothing and relaxing colour that brings about peace and understanding, in addition to easy flow of communication.
INDIGO: represents infinity. It is a deepened version of the colour blue that symbolizes wisdom, intuition, and self-mastery. This colour is known to be the bridge between the finite and the infinite. The energy of the colour blue is multiplied by indigo.
VIOLET: the seventh colour, is indeed a royal colour made with the combination of red and blue. It is the highest and the elusive specialization of light. As it is the beginning and end representing a closed circle, this colour symbolises the completion as well as the beginning of the energy vibrations. It also symbolizes high spiritual attainment and love for humanity.
Witnessing a rainbow is a gift, and when we encounter its beauty, it is the perfect time to be grateful to God for all the beautiful natural gifts he has given to us. The best time to view a rainbow in its full glory is either in the early morning hours or in the late afternoon, when the sun is low in the sky. The lower the sun, the higher the rainbow. The rainbows conveys the beautiful message of assurance and appreciation.

There is a very famous proverb:

“Everyone wants happiness, no one wants pain, but you can't make a rainbow without a little rain.”
