THE PAIN OF SEPARATION

    A million prayers can’t bring you here,

                                 I know because I have tried.

                                   My million tears wouldn't give you life,

                               I know because I have tried.

I hold you in my heart, I hold you in my dreams,

But your absence in arms makes me want to scream.

No farewell words were spoken when we were separated,

No time to say ‘Good Bye’ when we do devastated.

It happened so suddenly, and left me in pain,

My soul alone can sense the agony, stress and strain.

My heart still aches, the secret tears flow,

What it meant to lose you, no one shall ever know.

The memories of you are deeply engraved,

Nothing in this world can keep me glazed.

Though you’re not here, your fragrance,

Is spread everywhere, and can feel you anywhere.

I do not know how long I can endure this pain of separation,

THIS PAIN OF SEPARATION:

But even as I write, I know I must try not to let the pain overcome me heart,

For True love conquers anything -  even loneliness even pain.

                                        No matter how much miss you,
